Chad Hoefs

Chad makes his living as a Graphic Designer, but in his off time he paints.  As a self-taught artist, with his roots in watercolor painting, he now works primarily in acrylics on canvas.

Inspired by his children and the natural world around him, Chad's subject matter for his art, ranges from children's  fantasy  room murals, to farm life, to hunting and fishing. His strong sense of design is evident in his work, as is his illustrative attention to detail. He has embraced the Northern Minnesota life on canvas, with occasional sculpting of images and wood carvings. You can view his work at local area art festivals, and at the annual Pine River Art Club Show and Sale.

Chad resides in rural Pequot Lakes, Minnesota on a family farm, with his wife Angie and his two children, Gus and Greta.
